Summary: A vampire is slaughtering young boys, and Anita’s called in to consult. She soon discovers there’s a kiss (gang) of vampires responsible, and she and her partner Manny track them to their daytime lair. The plan goes awry, however, and they both end up narrowly escaping with their lives. Anita’s determined to finish the job, and teams up with the sociopathic assassin, Edward, to complete it.

Comments: I don’t know if I’ll ever be a huge reader of graphic novels. There’s too much stuff crammed into the little boxes for me to make sense of. But I can see the appeal they have for others, especially people who have reading comprehension problems. Pictures and words together are often easier than words alone.
