Summary: Jenks and Rachael head north to Michigan to rescue Jenks’ son—who inadvertently got separated from Nick and doesn’t know exactly where he is or how to get home. Upon arrival, Rachael learns Nick was captured by Weres and is being tortured to reveal the location of something he’s stolen. Unwilling to leave her ex-lover to his fate, Rachael engineers another rescue and all hell breaks loose.

Comments: I started out enjoying this entry just as much as previous ones. Then somewhere along the way Rachael really started to annoy me. Whine, whine, whine, whine, whine. After she sucks it up and decides to go through with something, mere pages later she’s back to whining again. Even the prospect of a 6’4” Jenks wasn’t enough to lull me back into enjoyment.
